(born 1949 in Kherson) \u2013 Ukrainian scientist, head of the Department (since February 1, 1995), corresponding member of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine (elected on November 6, 2003 in the specialty of Dentistry), Doctor of medical sciences (1994), Professor (2001), Honorary Professor of the I. Horbachevsky Ternopil State Medical University (2012). Civil servant of the 5th rank (2003). Author of the latest scientific research and textbooks. Patent critic (1980). President of the Ukrainian Association of Cranio-Maxillofacial Surgeons, Representative of Ukraine in the Councils of the European Association of Cranio-Maxillofacial Surgeons (EACMFS) and the International Association of Maxillofacial Surgeons (IAMFS), since 2000 \u2013 Co-founder and Vice President of the All-Ukrainian Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons. Member of the International Association of Implantologists (ICOI), Honorary Member (2012) of the Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Orale Implantologie (DGOI). Diploma Expert (2006) ICOI (International Congress of Oral Implantologists). Honored Worker of Science and Technology (2004).\n

In 1986, he first transplanted the patient\u2019s own metatarsophalangeal and metatarsophalangeal joints instead of the temporomandibular joint; improved distraction method, osteotomy of the middle area of \u200b\u200bthe face for the treatment of defects and deformities of the jaws; proposed new biological surgical methods for the treatment of a number of diseases of the facial skull. In 1977, together with associate professor V.V. Los\u2019 restored modern dental implantation in the country. V.O. Malanchuk discovered new types and properties of osteogenic human progenitor cells, proposed biologically reasoned bone operations and mechanisms of influence on osteogenesis.<\/p>\n

Vladyslav Oleksandrovych was a participant in the liquidation of the Chernobyl accident in May 1986. At 1996 he founded and headed the Ukrainian Association of Cranio-Maxillofacial Surgeons, the representative of Ukraine in the Council of the International and European Associations of Cranio-Maxillofacial Surgeons, a member of the International Association of Implantologists, Vice President of the All-Ukrainian Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons, member of the expert council \u201cSurgery\u201d of the Higher Attestation Commission of Ukraine (1998-2000), professor-consultant of the Main Bureau of Forensic Medical Examination of Ukraine and the Medical Service of the Security Service of Ukraine, member of the editorial boards of a number of journals, chief specialist of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine (2003-2005). In 2002-2005 \u2013 Head of the Department of Health, Family, Youth, Physical Culture and Tourism of the Humanitarian Policy Department of the Main Department of Internal Policy of the Administration of the President of Ukraine. Member of state commissions to investigate plane crashes (Norway, 1996; Greece, 1997), state biosafety, interstate adoption of children. He completed an internship in the dental college of the University of Dublin (Ireland, 1993), Monchengladbach (Germany, 1994). He prepared a number of draft documents on the humanitarian policy of the state, contributed together with Academician O.A. Vozianov creation of the Institute of Genetic and Regenerative Medicine at the National Academy of Medical Sciences, the Institute of Immunology at the National Medical University. In the framework of cooperation between the NMU and the Karolinska Institute (Stockholm, Sweden) on May 26, 2009, Professor V.O. Malanchuk gave a lecture on osteogenesis, his student G. Tour completed 5 years of training and he defended his PhD thesis, the best in medicine of Sweden at 2012.<\/p>\n

Professor V.O. Malanchuk is the author of more than 980 scientific works, including 5 national textbooks, 6 monographs, textbooks and programs, more than 160 inventions. He has prepared 5 doctors and 28 candidates of sciences, held 25 international congresses and conferences.<\/p>\n

From 1991 to 1993 she studied in a clinical residency at the Department of Surgical Dentistry of KMI. From 1993 to 1999 \u2013 resident doctor of the Maxillofacial Department of the hospital \u211623 in Kyiv.\n

From 1996 to 1999 \u2013 assistant professor of surgical dentistry part-time, and since 1999 she was elected as an assistant professor of surgical dentistry of the Bogomolets National Medical University by competition.<\/p>\n

In 2000 she defended her thesis by the topic: \u201cClinical and biomechanical substantiation of the choice of grafts for the reconstruction of the mandible and temporomandibular joint.\u201d<\/p>\n

Since September 2004 \u2013 Head of studies of the Department. In December 2004, the topic of the doctoral thesis was approved: \u201cDiagnosis, treatment of the temporomandibular joint diseases on the background of somatic diseases\u201d. In November 2004 she was elected as an associate professor of the Department by competition, in 2006 she received the academic title of associate professor. In 2013 she defended her doctoral thesis. Professor of the Department since 2014, received the title of professor in 2016.<\/p>\n

Doctor surgeon-dentist of the highest category. She took part in international congresses, attended courses in Italy, Austria, Germany, Netherlands, Denmark, Poland, Turkey, Great Britain, Czech Republic and others.<\/p>\n

Kulbashna (from the Veremchuk family) Yaroslava Arkadiivna was born on September 20, 1959 in Kyiv at family of doctors. In 1976 she graduated from Kyiv Secondary Anglo-Ukrainian School \u2116155 with a gold medal, and in 1981 \u2013 with honors from the Faculty of Dentistry of Bogomolets Kyiv Medical University (KMI). Listed in the Golden Book of Honor of KMI.\n

From 1981 to 1983 she studied in a clinical residency, from 1984 \u2013 in correspondence postgraduate course at the Department of Surgical Dentistry of KMI. From 1983 to 1989 she worked as a doctor in the Surgical Department of the dental clinic of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. In 1989 she was elected as an assistant of the Department of Surgical Dentistry of KMI.<\/p>\n

In 1990 she defended her thesis and received the degree of Candidate of Medical Sciences. In 1991-1996 she improved her skills in maxillofacial surgery clinics in the USA and Germany, with which she continues to work today.<\/p>\n

Since 2002 \u2013 Associate Professor of Surgical Dentistry, Bogomolets National Medical University. In 2015 she defended her doctoral dissertation at the Institute of Higher Education of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine and received the degree of Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, selected by competition for the position of Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department. Member of the Academic Council of the Faculty of Dentistry.<\/p>\n

Author and co-author of 122 scientific and methodological works, monographs, textbooks, four textbooks in English, 6 patents of Ukraine and 4 Certificates of Copyright for the work. At the invitation of the administration of N.I. Pirogov Vitebsk State Medical University she has been cooperating in the areas of specialization and modern pedagogical approaches in higher medical education since 2013.<\/p>\n

In 2010 he graduated from Azerbaijan Medical University, Dental Faculty. 2011 \u2013 2013 \u2013 clinical residency at the Department of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery of the Bogomolets NMU, from 2014 to 2017 \u2013 postgraduate student at the same Department. In 2018 he defended his thesis: \u201cSurgical treatment of fractures of the mandible\u201d (research supervisor \u2013 corresponding member of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, professor V.O. Malanchuk). He is a member of international associations: EACMFS, AOMFS, AO.\n
