Bogomolets (Zoologichna St., 1).<\/p>\n Meetings of the circle are held twice a month, according to the work plan. The format of the meetings has a mixed classroom-distance form of communication. Current issues of orthodontics are discussed at SSC meetings: modern methods of diagnosis and treatment of patients with dentognathic anomalies and deformations (3D diagnostics of the dentognathic complex, methods of cephalometric analysis, use of MRI for diagnosis of \u00a0TMJ; removable and non-removable orthodontic equipment, use of micro-implants, children’s dental prosthetics, etc.) .<\/p>\n One of the methods of in-depth study of important issues and tracking the latest trends in orthodontics is writing thematic abstracts with reports at the meetings of the student scientific club of the department. SSC members also take an active part in the practical clinical reception of patients.<\/p>\n Under the leadership of the supervisors, members of SSC prepare scientific reports for interuniversity conferences.<\/p>\n The teachers of the department hold thematic classes with students of the scientific circle, with the discussion of interesting clinical cases, the analysis of data from additional studies and the determination of tactical issues in accordance with the treatment algorithm of these patients. The head of the department \u2013 Doctor of Medical Sciences Tetiana Mykhailivna Kostiuk, associate professor N.V. Rashchenko, associate professor K.V. Storozhenko, associate professor L. A. Brodetska, assistants: P.O. Burlakov and K. G.
