Special attention is paid to the study of innovative methods of disease prevention, such as the development of new vaccines, increasing the effectiveness of already existing preventive and science-based measures to improve population health. Modeling and forecasting of the epidemic situation are considered important tools for prompt response and minimizing the risks of disease growth.<\/span><\/p>\n

Publications<\/b>: a total of 150 scientific works, 1 patent of Ukraine, co-author of 1 textbook, 2 training manuals and about 50 educational programs.<\/span><\/p>\n

In 1995, Hennadii Mokhort graduated from the Faculty of Preventive Medicine of the Ukrainian State Bogomolets Medical University named after and received a full higher education in the specialty \u201cHygiene, sanitation, epidemiology, professional pathology\u201d and obtained the qualification of \u201cdoctor-epidemiologist\u201d. in 1996, after completing an internship in epidemiology at the Department of Epidemiology of Bogomolets NMU (full-time cycle) and the sanitary-epidemiological station of the Podilsky District of Kyiv (part-time cycle), where he then worked as an epidemiologist from November 1996 to November 1998From 1998 to 2001, he studied at a postgraduate course at the Department of Epidemiology of O.O. NMU. Bogomolets. Under the leadership of Professor Y.D. Gots defended his PhD thesis in 2003 on the topic \u201cManifestations of the epidemic process of diphtheria in modern conditions and ways to improve epidemiological surveillance\u201d. Since 2001, he has been an assistant at the Department of Epidemiology, since 2004, he has been a senior lecturer, and since 2006, he has been an associate professor at the Department of Epidemiology<\/span><\/p>\n

Dr. Mokhort is actively engaged in scientific activities and is the author and co-author of more than 50 scientific works, including those indexed in international scientometric databases (Scopus, Web of Science, Google Scholar). Also Mohort H.A. is a co-author of the textbook \u201cEpidemiology\u201d edited by Professor I.P. Kolesnikova, 2012. He is responsible for the scientific work of the department and is the responsible executor of scientific research topics of the department of epidemiology. Other areas of work of Associate Professor Mohort H.A. there is work with interns and students of the secondary specialization in epidemiology (specialization and thematic improvement), as well as the work of the scientific student group of the department of epidemiology.<\/span><\/p>\n

Scientific interests: <\/b>Epidemiology and immunoprophylaxis of infectious diseases (food botulism, diphtheria, meningococcal infection, SARS, COVID-19), mathematical modeling of the epidemic process.<\/span><\/p>\n

From 2021 to the present, he works as an assistant at the Department of Epidemiology at the Bogomolets\u00a0 National Medical University.<\/span><\/p>\n

In 2020, she successfully completed the two-year course of the first cohort \u201cInterventional Epidemiological Service (FETP)\u201d (Advanced), founded by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine together with the State University \u201cPublic Health Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine\u201d and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention of the United States (CDC, USA).<\/span><\/p>\n
