Topics of practical classes<\/a><\/p>\n <\/p>\n

The two main areas of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology of Bogomolets National Medical University are teaching students and treating patients. These two activities can not be imagined without one another, because the teacher can not practice students in the art of treatment if he does not improve his own skills in daily practice. On the other hand as the old saying goes: \u201c While we teach , we learn\u201d Every year the department teaches more than a thousand students of medical and dental schools. Also in the department all graduates of Bogomolets National Medical University who decided to dedicate their professional life to otorhinolaryngology undergo postgraduate training. Department of Otorhinolaryngology is located at three clinical sites, and one of them is Children’s ENT department in Clinical Hospital 2, which greatly extends capabilities of the department in the preparation of interns. Each year members of the department participate in treatment of more than ten thousand patients. Department of Otorhinolaryngology has extensive relationships with leading academic healthcare institutions, both in Ukraine and abroad. Department employees annually take part in scientific conferences, attend postgraduate courses and improve their skills in leading clinics of Europe.<\/p>\n
