The Department of Otorhinolaryngology is one of the subdivisions of Bogomolets National Medical University, which specializes in educational work, research and treatment of diseases of the ear, pharynx, nose, larynx and adjacent areas of the head and neck. The staff of the department consists of highly qualified employees who are at the same time doctors, scientists and teachers who provide training of students and interns according to modern standards.<\/p>\n

During the educational part, students and interns are taught modern methods of otolaryngological examination of the patient, diagnosis and treatment of the most common diseases of the head and neck organs, providing emergency care to patients with acute ENT pathology, including military tactical medicine according to the protocol of NATO standards (MARCH), such as head and neck injuries and their complications, bleeding of ENT organs, stenosis of the larynx, etc. In addition to theoretical training, students and interns have the opportunity to work on modern diagnostic equipment, master the practical skills of emergency otolaryngological care on phantoms.<\/p>\n
