Today, it is headed by Mariia Prokopiv, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, and Honored Doctor of Ukraine. The department operates at eight clinical sites, providing training for both domestic and international students, as well as interns and neurologists seeking to improve their qualifications.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Areas of Activity<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The department offers neurology courses for 4th-year students of the following specialties:\u00a0Medicine, Dentistry, Pediatrics, Medical Psychology, Therapy and Rehabilitation, as well as for international students of the medical and dental faculties. Sixth-year students of the medical and pediatric faculties deepen their knowledge of neurology within the &#8220;Internal Medicine&#8221; cycle, focusing on the management of patients with emergency conditions. The courses are taught in both Ukrainian and English.<\/p>\n<p>The department also provides training for medical interns specializing in\u00a0Neurology\u00a0and offers a specialized program for interns in\u00a0General Practice &#8211; Family Medicine, focusing on the examination and treatment of neurological patients.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, faculty members conduct thematic improvement courses for doctors on current topics in neurology, and starting in 2025, a specialized neurology certification program for doctors is planned.
