The Department of Internal Medicine with a Course in Gastroenterology is one of the oldest therapeutic departments in Ukraine, Europe, and the world.<\/span><\/p>\n

The updated department was established on January 1, 2026, through the merger of the Department of Internal Medicine \u21161 and the Department of Internal Medicine \u21164.<\/span><\/p>\n

The main areas of the department\u2019s activity are gastroenterology and endoscopy.<\/span><\/p>\n

At the undergraduate level, teaching is provided in the following disciplines: \u201cInternal Medicine\u201d for students enrolled in specialties I2 \u201cMedicine,\u201d I3 \u201cPediatrics,\u201d I4 \u201cMedical Psychology,\u201d I8 \u201cPharmacy,\u201d and I6 \u201cMedical Diagnostic and Treatment Technologies.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

At the postgraduate level, training is provided in specialization courses in \u201cGastroenterology\u201d and \u201cEndoscopy,\u201d as well as thematic advanced training courses within the specialties of \u201cGastroenterology\u201d and \u201cEndoscopy.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
