INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION

Responsible for the international activities of the Department of General Practice (Family Medicine) and the English-language form of study (EFS)  – Associate Professor V. Rudichenko, PhD, MD; e-mail: rudichenko-vm@ukr.net.

The staff of the Department of General Practice (Family Medicine) regularly attend international conferences, congresses and seminars, which is an important part of the department’s work. So, the Head of the department of general practice (family medicine), professor O. Barna in 2018-2019 was a member of the Member of Executive Committee of EAPC (European Association of Preventive Cardiology), annually participates in the Congress of the European Society of Cardiology, European Association of Preventive Cardiology (European Association of Preventive Cardiology).

In addition, the department takes an active part in international multicenter studies and, accordingly, in conferences dedicated to these studies.

So, Associate Professor N. Gorobets participated in the training program “Efficacy and safety of 5-aminolevulinic acid when used concurrently with iron-sodium citrate for the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus patients who did not achieve sufficient glycemic control with maximum tolerated dose of metformin or sulphonylurea», 2018, Budapest, Hungary.

Associate Professor N. Gorobets and assistant V. Pekhenko participated in the study program “Investigation of the effect of canagliflozin on the effects of renal and cardiovascular system in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and diabetic nephropathy” 2018, Prague, Czech Republic.

Assistant O. Alifer participated in the study program “Study of the Impact of the M-001 Influenza Vaccine in Elderly Patients”, 2018, Warsaw, Poland.

Associate Professor Ya. Korost hold an internship on the training program “Organization of Medical Assistance for Gender Dysphoria in Norway”, 2017, Oslo, Norway.

Nam H. Cho, Professor, President of the International Diabetic Federation (IDF), Dean of the Faculty of Preventive Medicine at Ajou University School of Medicine, South Korea, in June 11, 2018 delivered a lecture on “The Health and Medical Training System in South Korea.”
