img_2252Yulia Deeva  – Head of the Department, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor

Yulia Deeva has been in charge of the department since 2016. In 2001, she defended her Ph.D. thesis on “Violation of the circulation of intralubirinal fluid with neurosensory hearing loss of various genesis and methods of its correction.” She passed an internship on endoscopic rhinosurgery (Kursk), courses of ear microsurgery and otoneurosurgery. Doctor of the highest category. Doctoral thesis devoted to the pathogenesis of vestibular and auditory disorders in patients with diabetes mellitus on the topic: “Peripheral and central disturbances of the vestibular analyzer in patients with diabetes mellitus (clinical and experimental research)” defended in 2012. She was awarded with “Gratitude of the mayor” and “Certificate of Honor of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine for his significant personal contribution to the development of public health and high professionalism. Currently, Professor Deeva is a leading specialist in the field of auditory and vestibular disorders in patients with disorders of the endocrine system. She consults patients not only on the bases of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology of Bogomolets National Medical University, but also abroad, which significantly increases not only the authority of the clinic in the world scientific society, but also leads the otorhinolaryngology as a branch of medicine to a higher level. img_2022Oleksandr Naumenko – Honored Doctor of Ukraine, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Vice-Rector for scientifico-pedagogical, Curative and postgraduate education.
Professor Oleksandr Naumenko for a long time was responsible for the work of the student scientific circle. Occupying the post of assistant of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology in 1998 he defended his thesis for the degree of candidate of medical sciences on “The state of mineral metabolism and methods of its correction in some forms of rhinitis”, and in 2002 – a doctoral dissertation on the problems of spontaneous and induced pathomorphism of chronic rhinitis in the inhabitants of the Kiev region. This is the first dissertation in Ukraine on otorhinolaryngology, dedicated to the consequences of the Chernobyl disaster. Professor A.N. Naumenko is the author of more than 90 scientific papers, prepared three candidates of medical sciences and one doctor of medical sciences. He is deputy chairman of the Admission Committee of the University. He also belongs to one of the key roles in the creation of the faculty for training doctors of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Vyacheslav Didkovsky – Associate Professor of the Department, Candidate of Medical Sciences

Taking an active part in the life of the Bogomolets National Medical University Vyacheslav Leonidovich since 2003 – working as an assistant of vice-rector on medical work, acting head of the medical and consulting department. In 2000 he defended his thesis on the topic: “Vestibular dysfunction in neurosensory hearing loss (features of diagnosis and treatment approaches).” The scientific potential is more than 65 printed works. Associate Professor is the co-author of many manuals and postsibles for doctors and students. Repeatedly passed internship abroad on a specialty (Salzburg, Austria 1998,1999, 2008), incl. with microendoscopic ENT surgery, plastic rhinosurgery, audiology, endonasal and otosurgery (Research Institute of Otorhinolaryngology of the AMS of Ukraine, Cornell University of the USA, ENT-Clinic of the University of Mainz, Germany). He is member of the European Society of the Rhinologist since 2007.  Vyacheslav Didkovsky is responsible for the work of the student scientific circle and also for the work of the endoscopic cabinet based on the ENT department of the Kyiv City Clinical Hospital No. 12. Zhanna Tereschenko  – Associate Professor of the Department, Candidate of Medical Sciences.

Zhanna Tereshchenko is responsible for educational work among students at the department, maintains a journal of the department. The thesis for obtaining a scientific degree of candidate of medical sciences was devoted to auditory and vestibular disorders in patients with systemic autoimmune diseases, and was defended in 2004. Yuriy Shevchuk- Associate Professor of the Department, Candidate of Medical Sciences.
Associate Professor – doctor of the highest category, Ph.D. Currently, Yuri Viktorovich is the head of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology at the Kyiv City Clinical Children’s Hospital No. 2 and is a scientific and practical adviser to the children’s ENT department of this hospital. His candidate’s thesis was devoted to the study of pathogenesis and treatment of chronic tonsillitis. The thesis on “Chronic tonsillitis. Questions of pathogenesis and treatment” is defended in 2004. He is responsible for the scientific work of the department. Priority in the activities as a doctor is the treatment of such diseases of the ENT organs as chronic tonsillitis, adenoid vegetations, diseases of the nose and paranasal sinuses. Yuriy Shevchuk conducts such operations as rhinoplasty, septoplasty, konkhotomy, tonsillectomy, adenotomy, as well as surgery for congenital malformations of ENT organs, ear diseases, nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses. Currently, classes with students is conducted on the basis of the ENT department of the children’s clinical hospital.

Oleksandr Dikhtyaruk  – Associate Professor of the Department, Candidate of Medical Sciences

Oleksandr Dikhtyaruk  is an ENT doctor of the highest category. Among the scientific interests, first of all, studies of the disorder of auditory and vestibular functions in patients with multiple sclerosis. This topic is devoted to the thesis for the degree of candidate of medical sciences. Constantly improving as a doctor annually passes advanced training courses in such areas as plastic surgery, endoscopic rhinosurgery. In 2005-2009, during five months, he was interned abroad from such disciplines as plastic surgery, rhinosurgery, otoosurgery, head and neck surgery, oncology. He is responsible for training interns in the specialty of otorhinolaryngology and advanced training of doctors at the department. Oleksandr Dikhtyaruk conducts such operations as rhinoplasty, septoplasty, tonsillectomy, adenotomy, as well as surgery for congenital anomalies of ear, nose, and nasal sinuses. Lilia Krynichko  – Assistant of the Department, Candidate of Medical Sciences.

Lilia Krinichko is a doctor of the highest category, Ph.D. Among the priorities of surgical activity are plastic surgery and endoscopic rhinosurgery. There was repeated training in well-known clinics in Europe. During 2008-2009, she trained several times at the leading oncological clinic in  Israel, in June 2009 she underwent a three-week practice in otosurgery in Germany. In January 2010, she completed another three-week internship at the Plastic Surgery Clinic in Italy. Her thesis was devoted to the role of disruption of nasal valve function in the occurrence and course of diseases of the nose and paranasal sinuses. The thesis is protected in 2003. L.R. Krynichko performs such operations as rhinoplasty, septoplasty, polypotomy, operations on the paranasal sinuses, surgery to remove tumors of the nasal cavity. Oleksiy Motaylo  – Assistant of the Department, Candidate of Medical Sciences.

Oleksiy Motaylo – ENT doctor of the highest category. Among scientific interests, the first place is occupied by studies of the disorder of auditory and vestibular functions in patients with diseases of the auditory analyzer, as well as restoration of respiratory function in the pathology of the nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses. Thesis for the degree of candidate of medical sciences is devoted to traumatic injury of the middle ear. Constantly improving as a doctor, he annually passes courses of improvement of professional skill in the State institution “Institute of Otolaryngology in the directions: plastic surgery, endoscopic rhinosurgery. In 2005-2011 he passed internship abroad in such disciplines as plastic surgery, rhinosurgery, otoosurgery, head and neck surgery, oncology. Olha Ostrovskaya – Assistant of the Department, Candidate of Medical Sciences.
She graduated from the Bogomolets National Medical University with honors in 2001. In 2007 she defended her thesis on “Videoendoscopic surgical interventions in previously operated patients with altered architectonics of the nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses”. Work experience in the specialty is 15 years, teaching experience is 11 years (he holds the post of assistant at the department of otorhinolaryngology of NMU since 2006). Olha Ostrovskaya – doctor of the highest category. Among the priorities of surgical activity is endoscopic rhinosurgery, plastic surgery. She is an active participant of annual scientific and practical conferences, including endoscopic ENT surgery, plastic rhinosurgery, endonasal and otomicrosurgery (Research Institute of Otorhinolaryngology, AMS of Ukraine, Warsaw University, GVCMC “GVCG”). Author and co-author of more than 40 scientific articles devoted to the study of etiology, pathogenesis, treatment of patients with pathology of the nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses, author of 2 patents of Ukraine for invention.

Anna Zadorozhna  – Assistant of the Department, Candidate of Medical Sciences.

Anna Zadorozhna – ENT doctor of the highest category. Working as an assistant at the Department of Otorhinolaryngology, Anna  performs advisory and therapeutic activities on the basis of the department. Among the scientific priorities is a study of diseases of the nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses.  Treats diseases such as acute and chronic tonsillitis, acute and chronic sinusitis, maxillary sinus microsomes, acute and chronic ear diseases. In August 2008, she underwent internship at the Otorhinolaryngology Clinic in the Otolaryngology Research Institute. In June 2009, she completed internship in Greece. Serhii Konovalov – Assistant of the Department, Candidate of Medical Sciences.

In 2007 he graduated from the Bogomolets National Medical University . After graduating from the NMU he continues his studies in the magistracy at the Department of Otorhinolaryngology. Under the guidance of Professor Yurii Mitin he defended his master’s thesis on “The peculiarities of combining cosmetic rhinoplasty with operations, restoring nasal breathing”. From 2009 to 2011 he was trained and trained at the University of Aristotle  (Greece). From 2011 to 2012 he studied at the full-time post-graduate course at the Department of Otorhinolaryngology of the Bogomolets National Medical University and completed his thesis “The state of the auditory analyzer in patients with organic pathology of the main vessels of the head and neck before and after complex treatment.” Serhii Konovalov  is the author of more than 20 scientific works devoted to the study of the issues of etiology, pathogenesis, treatment of patients with hearing impairment, the author of two patents on the utility model for diagnosis and treatment of patients with sensorineural hearing loss and extravasal compression of vertebral arteries. Maksym Tarasenko – Assistant of the Department.

In 2010 he graduated from the Bogomolets National Medical University  specialized in “Medicine”. After graduation, he was accepted as a senior laboratory assistant at the Department of Otorhinolaryngology. In 2012 he graduated from the internship on the specialty “Otorhinolaryngology” at the Department of Otorhinolaryngology. Special scientific interest is associated with hearing problems of various genesis and improvement of methods for early diagnosis and treatment of various variants of this pathology, and therefore performs the thesis “The state of the auditory system in patients with autoimmune thyroiditis.” He actively participates in international seminars and conferences on the specialty, has several awards for the best scientific work. Fluent in English. As an assistant at the department of otorhinolaryngology since 2016. He works as deputy executive secretary of the admission committee of the Bogomolets National University of Medicine. Responsible for the academic work at the department. He has 24 printed scientific works. Roman Denisenko – Assistant of the Department.

In 2001-2007  Study at the Bogomolets National Medical University.  2007-2009 passed an internship on otorhinolaryngology . Otorhinolaryngologist (ENT surgeon), plastic surgeon. From 2007 to 2014 worked in the Alexandrovsky Clinical Hospital in Kiev at the emergency ENT-aid station. From 2011 to the present day, an otorhinolaryngologist, plastic surgeon in the specialized surgical department of the Otolaryngology Unit of the Clinical Hospital No. 2. Winner of many Ukrainian and international seminars, conferences of master classes. Anatoliy Shydlovsky  – Assistant of the Department , Candidate of Medical Sciences.

He graduated in 2008 Bogomolets NMU, in 2010 – internship at the Department of Otorhinolaryngology and received a specialization as an otorhinolaryngologist. In 2011 he defended his thesis on the topic: “Sensorineural hearing loss in vertebral-basilar vascular insufficiency.” Speaker and participant of more than 50 professional conferences and more than 30 specialized courses and master classes. Author of more than 40 published scientific works, 1 patent for useful model. Priority directions in the work: urgent, conservative and operative treatment of ear, nose, throat, neck and adjacent areas, endoscopic diagnosis and surgical treatment of head and neck pathology, aesthetic surgery Face and neck. The doctor-otolaryngologist of the second qualification category. In 2011 graduated from the Bogomolets National Medical University. In the course of 2011-2013 passed internship at the otolaryngology department of NMU. In 2013 she defended the scientific and qualification work on the topic “Influence of local priming of plasma-enriched plasma on the tissue re-location of tonsillar niches after tonsillectomy” and received a master’s degree in medicine from the Department of Otorhinolaryngology.  Since 2015 she is the assistant of the department of otolaryngology NMU. She is the author of 34 printed scientific works, 29 speeches at international conferences. Has a patent for a useful model “Method of stopping bleeding with tonsillectomy” №76726. Since 2014 she has been working on writing a scientific paper for obtaining a PhD degree in the Department of Otolaryngology of the Warsaw Medical University.
