Marushko Yu. V., MD, Professor, Head of the Department of Pediatrics Postgraduate Education, Bogomolets National Medical University, pediatrician of the highest category.

Born October 5, 1956, Kyiv.

Graduated with honors from the Kyiv Medical Institute named after O.O. Bogomolets in 1980 on a specialty “Pediatrics”. Listed in the Golden Book of Honors of CMI. This year, began to work at the Department of Faculty of Pediatrics, nowadays Pediatrics of Postgraduate Education of the NMU. In 1984 he defended his Ph.D. on “Clinical and immunological characteristics and treatment of staphylococcal diseases in young children.” The head of the dissertation is Professor P.M. Gudzenko, Professor P.S. Moshchich.

Since February 1985 he is an assistant at the Department of Pediatric Diseases № 1 of the Kyiv Medical Institute. Since April 1993 – in the post, since 1994 – Associate Professor of Pediatrics №3 of Ukrainian State Medical University named after O.O. Bogomolets.

In 2000 he defended his doctoral dissertation on the theme “Clinical and bacteriological and immunological characteristics of children who are often ill and differentiated methods of their treatment”.

He received the title of professor in 2002.

Since 2003 Head of the Department of Pediatrics №3, since 2015 the Department of Pediatrics Postgraduate Education. Simultaneously from 2004 to 2015 the dean of the faculty of advanced training of teachers of the Higher Education Institutions of Ukraine of the I-IV accreditation levels of  the NMU, in 2002-2003 he is a freelance consultant of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Committee on Ecological Policy, Environmental Management and Disaster Management.

Marushko Yu. V. is an expert of clinical and expert commission of Ministry of Health of Ukraine since 2013

On August 1, 2015, the Department of Pediatrics of Postgraduate Education, headed by Marushko Yu. V., began a new stage of work – preparation at the postgraduate level at the Institute of Postgraduate Education of interns in specialty “Pediatrics”, “General practice “,” Emergency Medicine “. For the first time educational and methodical materials for the department’s work with interns were developed, a number of trainings, on-line testing were introduced. Programs of cycles of thematic improvement, internships, specialization for pediatricians, general practitioners – family medicine for IDP trainees have been developed.

For the first time in Ukraine, Marushko Yu. V. studied the features of the course of staphylococcal infection in young children, approaches to therapy with the use of anti-staphylococcal drugs. These studies were summarized in the candidate’s work.

Further scientific developments of Marushko Yu. V. are related to the study of the role of immunity and individual bacteria in the formation of a group of children, who are often suffering from respiratory infections. Some of the obtained results formed the basis of the doctoral dissertation. A new approach to the study of the problem of treatment and rehabilitation of patients with repeated respiratory diseases of the upper respiratory tract is developed, which allows taking into account the clinic, the status of colonization resistance of tonsils, indicators of immunity to allocate clinical, etiological and pathogenetic variants of frequent respiratory diseases with chronic tonsillitis, and contributes to the individual treatment of these patients. The research resulted in the defense of a doctoral thesis in 2000.

A further scientific topic of Professor Marushko Yu. V. is related to the development and implementation of recommendations for the treatment and rehabilitation of children suffering from respiratory infections. Epidemiological studies have been conducted on the state of micronutrient support for children, in the personality of iron, zinc, copper, and other, developed treatment schemes for these children. Therapeutic schemes for children with secondary cardiomyopathy, vegetative dysfunctions, pneumonia, atopic dermatitis have been developed.

To date, the main areas of scientific and practical work of Marushko Yu. V. are related to the study of various somatic pathologies in children. The main of these areas are: arterial dystonias (hypertension, hypotension) in children, exercise tolerance in children with various somatic pathologies, trace elements, functional and organic diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, lactase deficiency.

In the hospitals on the basis of the department Professor Marushko Yu. V. introduced ultrasonic methods of research, daily monitoring of ECG, daily monitoring of blood pressure, bicycle ergometry, determination of the content of trace elements, immunological studies, breathing hydrogen test with load food lactate.

Author of more than 800 scientific papers, co-author of 13 monographs, 7 textbooks, 66 manuals, 13 methodological recommendations, 12 sectoral innovations. Priority of the performed researches is confirmed by 51 copyright certificates and patents of Ukraine.

Marushko Yu. V. successfully prepares highly qualified specialists in pediatrics. Under his direction, graduate students, clinical residencies, masters.

Marushko Yu. V. is a member of the Board of the Association of Pediatricians of Ukraine since 2004, responsible Secretary of the Association of Pediatricians of Ukraine, member of the editorial board of seven professional medical journals.

Member of the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology since 2019.

Member of the specialized scientific council D.26.003.04 of the National Medical University for the protection of doctoral theses in specialty “Pediatrics”. Member of the Board of Appeal in the specialty “Pediatrics.

He was awarded the Certificate of Honor of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine (2002), Honorary Certificate of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine (2004), Acknowledgment of the Mayor of Kiev (2007, 2010). Awarded the Order of Saint Equal Apostle Prince Vladimir the Great III Degree (Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Kyiv Patriarchate) (2010), Honorary diploma of the Academic Council of NMU (2019).

 

 

 

 

Tetiana Hyshchak, was born in 1969, scientific degree – Doctor of Medical Sciences, rank – Associate Professor, position – Professor of the Department of Pediatrics.

Graduated from Ukrainian State Medical University in 1994.

In 2004, she defended the dissertation for the Candidate of Medical Sciences degree in the subject: “Condition of the conduction system of the heart in children with supraventricular paroxysmal tachycardia and criteria of differentiated therapy”.

In 2017, she defended the dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Medical Sciences on the topic: “Primary arterial hypertension in children: systemic mechanisms of adaptation, differentiated therapy”

The main directions of scientific and practical work: scientific work is related to the study of the course and development of new methods of diagnosis and treatment of hypertension in children and adolescents. She has 234 scientific papers, 3 patents of Ukraine. She is the co-author of 29 textbooks and one monograph.

 

 

 

 

Borуsenko Mykhailo Ivanovych, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor

In 1976 he graduated with honors from the Pediatric Faculty of the Kyiv Medical Institute named after Acad. OO Bogomolets, listed in the Golden Book of Honor of the Institute. He also graduated from the Kiev Institute of Patent Studies in 1976.

PhD dissertation on “Clinical importance of lipid metabolism in chronic gastritis and peptic ulcer disease in children” in 1981, and doctoral dissertation on the topic: “Immunodependence and immunotherapy of chronic gastroduodenal diseases in 1996”.

From January 1981 to November 1991 – Assistant, from November 1991 – Assistant Professor, and from 1 September 2014 – Professor of the Department of Pediatrics№ 3 (now Pediatrics Postgraduate Education).

Scientific titles were awarded: “Associate Professor” – in 1993, “Professor” in 2015.

He is the author of 256 scientific works, of which 13 books (monographs, manuals) 3 inventions, 5 rationalization proposals, 2 methodological references and 2 information letters.

I. Borysenko is responsible for the department for teaching and methodical work in 3 courses and for medical work in Children’s Clinical Hospital № 8, the head of the student scientific club, from 2006 to 2008 he was head of the department. He is a member of the testing, specialized and cycle methodological councils in the field of Pediatrics. From 1995 to 2000 – Secretary of the Rectorate of the NMU named after OO Bogomolets.

In 1998, he was awarded the highest qualification category in pediatrics. He is a member of the Association of Pediatricians of Ukraine and Kyiv.

The scope of scientific interest is the study of immunological dependence and the development of immunotherapy for chronic diseases of the gastroduodenal zone, pathology of younger childhood, rehabilitation of children with diseases of the digestive system and urinary system.

For his conscientious and effective work, he was awarded the Certificate of Honor and the Certificate of Health of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, the Certificate of Honor of the Kyiv City Mayor, the Certificate of Honor of the Department of Health of Kyiv and the Academic Council of National Medical University.

Shef Gennadiy Gennadiyovych, Candidate of Medical Sciences (since 1993), Associate Professor (since 2009).

Graduated from pediatric faculty in Kyiv Medical Institute in 1986.

In 1991-1993 studied at clinical residency at the Department of Faculty of Pediatrics KMI.

Defended the candidate’s dissertation on topic “Meaning for differential boosted ECG for diagnostics of pulmonary hypertension in children with inborn and acquired heart defects” in 1993.

Doctor-pediatrician of highest qualification category.

Boyko Nataliia

Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor (since 2011), Pediatrician of higher qualification category. Experience 37 years.

Graduated with honors from the Pediatric Faculty of the Kyiv Medical Institute in 1982. She defended her Ph.D. Later it developed in all areas of pediatrics. Today, the priority area of ​​scientific and medical activity is keeping healthy and sick children for the first three years of life. She has experience working with some categories of patients with hematologic and nephrological pathology. She is constantly developing in these areas, taking part in clinical rounds of leading pediatric hematologists, nephrologists, infectious disease specialists and uses their experience in teaching relevant sections.The department is responsible for medical work and teaching the course “Child Health” for interns in the specialty “General Practice – Family Medicine”

 

 

 

Moskovenko Olena Dmytrivna

Graduated from the Bogomolets National Medical University in 2006.
Studied in clinical residency at the Department of Pediatrics № 3 of the Bogomolets National Medical University from 2009 to 2011.

He defended his PhD thesis on “Features of gastric cytoprotection and ways of its correction in children with chronic gastroduodenitis” in 2015.
Scientific interests: diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases of the gastrointestinal tract in children.

– her Clinical residency was being held on the Department of Pediatrics №3 of Bogomolets National Medical University during 1984-1986; – her Postgraduate studies were being held on the Department of Pediatrics №3 of Bogomolets National Medical University during 1986-1989;
– the subject of dissertation «The worth of Differential Enhanced Electrocardiography in diagnostics of atrial hypertrophy in children with congenital and acquired cardiac abnormalities».-is responsible for educational work on the Department.

Since 2014 she has worked in the department as a senior laboratory assistant, since September 2019 she has worked as an assistant. During her time at the department she proved herself as a responsible and purposeful employee.

Starting in 2019, she began writing a dissertation.

The main activities are gastroenterology, cardiology, pulmonology, phthisiology, neonatology.

Yesipova Svitlana Ivanivna

Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor

She has been working at the department since 1996, Candidate of Medical Sciences since 2005, Assistant Professor. Total work experience of 24 years.

She provides medical and counseling work at the department’s base clinic. Has higher qualification category of pediatrician.

She is curator of the 5th course of medical-psychological and medical faculties. Since 2012, she has been a curator of teaching to English language students at medical faculties. Since 2012, she has been a curator of summer production practice for students of the 5th year of the Faculty of Medicine and Psychology.

She is certified by British Council Aptis (B2).

She is responsible for medical work at the base clinic.

Responsible for the research work of the department. Author of 46 scientific and methodological articles.

 

Dmitryshyn Bohdana Yaroslavivna

Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor

She has been working at the department since 2003. Total work experience is 31 years, teaching experience is 23 years.

Head of the department. Responsible for educational work.

Co-author of all working educational programs, typical industrial practice programs for students of 2-5 courses of the Faculty of Medicine and Psychology, elective course “Topical issues of pediatric nephrology”.

Author of methodical instructions to the production practice “Sisterhood in Pediatrics” for students of the Faculty of Medicine and Psychology; methodical instructions for practical classes and independent work in pediatrics for students of IV courses of medical and medical-psychological faculties.

Bovkun Oksana Anatoliivna

In 2003 she graduated from Bogomolets National Medical University.

From 2003 to 2005 she studied in internship in the specialty “Pediatrics”.

He has been working at the Department of Pediatrics No. 5 since 2007; in 2009-2011 she studied at the postgraduate course at Bogomolets National Medical University.

In 2011 she defended her PhD thesis on the topic: “Prediction of chronic gastroduodenitis, taking into account the factors of aggression and gastroprotective potential”. Professional experience – 17 years.

Provides medical and consulting work in the basic clinic of the department. She has the first qualification category of pediatrician.

Curator of 2-3 courses of medical-psychological and medical faculties. Since 2012 she has been the curator of summer production practice for students of 2-4 courses of the Faculty of Medical Psychology.

Assistant

She graduated with honors from the Medical Faculty # 2 of Bogomolets National Medical University in 2015. From 2015 to 2017 she studied in internship in the specialty “Pediatrics”. In 2017, she defended her master’s thesis. She has been working  as an assistant of the department of pediatrics №5 since 2017.

She holds the B2 Council Certificate of British Council (Ukraine) Aptis. She provides English for pediatrics at the Faculty of Medicine.

She is working on her PhD thesis on “Improving the diagnosis of pancreatic exocrine insufficiency in children with type 1 diabetes and optimizing enzyme replacement therapy”.

She participates in scientific and practical conferences. Author of 16 scientific articles.

 

Ludwig Tetiana Anatoliivna

Candidate of Medical Sciences, Assistant (PhD)

After graduating in 1993 from the Bogomolets Ukrainian State Medical University Academy she worked as a pediatrician at the clinical diagnostic and gastroenterological departments of the children’s clinic at the Ukrainian Research Institute of Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Since 2000 – candidate of medical sciences.

She has worked as a senior researcher in the Department of Rehabilitation of Children and Pregnant Women since2007. She worked as a senior researcher in the department of connective tissue diseases in children in 2014. Since 2014 – Senior Researcher at the Department of Medical Problems of a Healthy Child and Premorbid Conditions.

Since 2015 she is the assistant of the Department of Pediatrics No. 5 of Bogomolets National Medical University.

She has the highest qualification category of a pediatrician. She provides medical advisory work in the department of nutrition and somatic diseases of young children. The author of 67 scientific articles.

Shipelik Tetiana Viacheslavivna

Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Assistant

She graduated from the Bogomolets State Ukrainian Medical University in 1995.  In 1996-1997 She studied at the internship at the Department of Pediatrics No. 3 of the Bogomolets National Medical University. From 1997 to 2008 She worked in the children’s polyclinic №3 of the City Clinical Hospital №9 of the Podolskyi District in Kyiv city.

In 2005-2008 She studied in absentia at the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management with a degree in Medical Psychology. From 2009 to 2011 she taught at the Department of Psychoneurology of the Kyiv Institute of Traditional Medicine.

From 2011 to 2018 She worked as a pediatrician polyclinic №3 3 of the Podolskyi district in Kyiv and part-time doctor of the admission department of the City Clinical Hospital №3 of the Solomenskyi district Kyiv.

In 2013-2016, she worked as a teacher in the Department of Penitentiary Pedagogy and Psychology of the Institute of Criminal Executive Service of Ukraine. In January 2020 defended her thesis.

She is the author of 15 scientific articles.
