Also, at the Pediatric Allergy and Asthma Meeting (PAAM) 2019 (Florence, Italy), as.prof. Mozyrska O.V. presented the poster about pediatric allergology

 

 

Department of Pediatrics No. 2 actively participates in the work of leading international pediatric conferences. In particular, scientists of the department presented reports at the 7th Baltic and North Sea Conference on Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine (Tartu, Estonia, June 9–11, 2022), the 10th Europaediatrics, (Zagreb, Croatia, October 7-9, 2021), Congress of the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI Hybrid Congress 2022 (Prague, Czech Republic, July 1-3, 2022), etc.

 

At the 7th Baltic North Sea Conference of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine, the head of the Department of Pediatrics No. 2, corresponding member of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, Professor Volosovets O.P. highlighted the issue of providing medical and psychological assistance to children who suffered as a result of Russian aggression in his report “Ways of medical and psychological rehabilitation of children, who have suffered as a result of Russian military aggression against Ukraine”. Professor of the department Kryvopustov S.P. and associate professors Shevtsova T.I. and Loginova I.O. presented the report “Experience of teaching issues of rehabilitation of children with perinatal injuries of the central nervous system at the Department of pediatrics No. 2 Bogomolets National Medical University”, and associate professor of the department Mozyrska O.V. reported the results of research on “House dust mite sensitivity in atopic children with toll-like receptor 2 polymorphism”. All reports were published in the well-known European journal Journal Rehabilitation Medicine.

 

In October 2021 associate professor V.E. Khomenko and assistant O.V. Iemets participated in the work of the 10th European Pediatric Congress  and presented the results of scientific research in the report “Comparative characteristics of the Etiological spectrum of acute viral respiratory infections in pediatric patients in Ukraine during 2018-2020” (V.E. Khomenko, O.V.Iemets, O.P. Volosovets, S.P. Kryvopustov, T. R. Umanets, O. V. Mozyrska). The report was published in Archives of Disease in Childhood.

 

In July 2022 associate professor V.E. Khomenko, associate professor O.V. Mozyrska and assistant M.V. Kryvopustova participated in the work of EAACI Hybrid Congress 2022. Khomenko V.E. presented the report “Immunohistochemical inflammation markers of the esophageal mucosa in asthmatic children with reflux esophagitis” (T. Umanets, A. Buratynska, Yu. Marushko, V. Khomenko, T. Zadorozhna, O. Pustovalova, V. Lapshyn, Yu. Antipkin). Associate professor of the department Mozyrska O.V. presented two reports “Identification of Malassezia species using PCR in children with atopic dermatitis” and “IgE sensitization to molecular components of Malassezia allergens among atopic children”. Kryvopustova M.V. presented the report “Sensitisation to lipocalins Fel d 4, Fel d 7, Can f 1 in school-age children with asthma: clinical importance” (Kryvopustova M.V., Volosovets O.P., Yuriev S.)
