The CLUB was founded in 1980 by the Head of the Department of Neurosurgery, Professor V.G. Stanislavsky, MD., D.Sc. The number of members of the first meeting was 7 people. Next Leaders of the CLUB were: Academician A.P. Romodanov, MD, D.Sc.; Academician V.I. Tsimbaliuk, MD, D.Sc.; Assistant Professor H.M. Palienko, MD, Ph.D.; Associate Professor I.N. Boychenko, MD, Ph.D.; Associate Professor O.I .Troyan, MD, Ph.D.; Associate Professor V.V. Medvediev, MD, D.Sc.

Topics of the meeting of the CLUB: in-depth disclosure of topics in the course of neurosurgery, coverage of current data on neurophysiology and neuroanatomy, pathogenesis and treatment of pathology of the nervous system and related pathology.
