Natalia V. Stuchynska graduated from the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics in Ternopil State Pedagogical Institute in 1978 with a major in Mathematics and Physics.

In 1984, she completed her postgraduate course in the field of “Semiconductor and Dielectric Physics” and defended a thesis for a Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences on the topic of “Anisotropy of Physical Properties and Deformation Effects in CdP Monocrystals” in 1998.

Natalia Stuchynska has been working at the National Medical University since 1988. Having been working as a lecturer in the Department of Medical and Biological Physics initially, she has been serving as an associate professor of the same department since 1994. In 1995, Natalia Stuchynska was rewarded with the academic title of Associate Professor. In 2008, she defended a thesis on the topic of “Integration of Fundamental and Professional Training of Future Doctors in the Process of Studying Physical and Mathematical Disciplines” and received her PhD. Natalia has been working as a professor at the Department of Medical and Biological Physics since 2011; and in 2013, she was rewarded with the academic title of Professor.

Fluent in English (Level B2, Pearson Exam  Center  ” Universal Test “).

Natalia Stuchynska is the author of more than 276 scientific works, including monograph, 16 textbooks and tutorials under the stamps of the Ministry of Education and Science and the Ministry of Healthcare of Ukraine, 2 copyright certificates, and two utility model patents. Under the guidance of Natalia Stuchynska, there have been two PhD theses defended and another two submitted for defense.

Natalia Stuchynska is currently the Chairman of the Specialized Scientific Council К 26.03.10 and the Member of the Interagency Council for the Coordination of Scientific Research in Pedagogy and Psychology of Ukraine.

He worked as Professor at the University of Pierre and Marie Curie (Paris, France) in 1992 and Fulbright Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison (Madison, USA) in 1998.

 

He graduated from the Faculty of Physics, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv in 1961 (Department of Theoretical Physics), received the specialty “Physicist”, and worked at the Faculty of Physics, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (Department of Molecular Physics) in 1961-1983. In 1983 he was elected as Head of Department of Medical and Biological Physics at the Bogomolets National Medical University in Kyiv.

 

Main directions of scientific and practical work

 

Medical and biological physics, theoretical and molecular physics, neutron optics, synergetics, pedagogics of higher and secondary schools.

The scientific interests are devoted to topical problems of teaching natural sciences in higher and secondary schools, physics of phase transitions and critical phenomena in condensed matter, light and neutrons scattering in the critical region, theory of self-organization and formation of the ordered structures in the physical-chemical and medical-biological systems.

He first proposed the physical and mathematical model of psychophysical processes of synaptic transmission of information using the phase transitions theory in confined  systems; developed universal synergetic principles of education, creating the basis for the interdisciplinary dialogue “physics-medicine”; created the theory of critical opalescence of light (taking into account the effects of multiple scattering) and neutrons in liquid systems; investigated the peculiarities of equilibrium and nonequilibrium properties of nanoscale liquids under the influence of dimensional crossover (smooth transition between 3-dimensional and 2-dimensional systems).

 

The total number of publications – more than 500.

Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry”, “Springer Proceedings in Physics” and in scientific editions of famous publishing companies “Elsevier”, “Springer”, “Harwood Academic Press”, “Nova Science Publication”, “Nauka”, “Naukova Dumka”, “Nova Knyga”, etc. He has presented lectures at many international and Ukrainian conferences and symposia (abstracts were printed).

The Hirsch index according to Scientometric Database Scopus is h = 6 (documents – 63, citations – 103), the Hirsch index according to Scientometric database Google Scholar is h =14.  Total 6 Doctoral and 15  Ph.D. (Candidate) theses were defended in physical-mathematical and pedagogical sciences under the guidance and consultative help by A.V. Chalyi. He is fluent in English (certificate of completion of full course of English Department of Kyiv State 3-year courses of foreign languages of Ministry of Education of USSR).

Prof. K.Chalyy graduated from the Faculty of Physics at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv in 1993 and continued his postgraduate studies. In 1997 he received the degree of Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (Molecular Physics).

 

As the Overseas Research Fellow he studied at the National University of Electronic Communications (Tokyo, Japan) and at the Faculty of Biological and Chemical Engineering at Gunma National University (Kiryu, Japan). There, in 2001, he defended his Doctoral dissertation and received a Ph.D. in Engineering.

 

In 2006, after completing his highest doctorate course at the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, he obtained a Doctor of Science Degree in Physics and Mathematics with a specialization in thermophysics and molecular physics (Scientific Advisor – Academician, Professor Leonid Bulavin). The dissertation was devoted to the study of the properties of a wide range of mesoscale fluid systems, including biomedical objects.

 

Additionally, graduated from the Faculty of Pharmacy at Bogomolets National Medical University in 2012. In 2013 he received the qualification degree Master of Pharmacy.

 

From 1998 to 2009 he worked at the Shupyk National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education (NMAPE) as Associate Professor (1998-2007) and Professor (2007-2009) of the Department of Medical Informatics.

 

In 2009, Prof. K.Chalyy was transferred to the Bogomolets National Medical University to continue working as a professor in the Department of Medical and Biological Physics.

Prof. K.Chalyy, as the scientific supervisor, has prepared two Ph.D. Recipients. Provides scientific advice to one Doctor of Science Candidate and scientific supervision of two Ph.D. Candidates.

Graduated from the Korolenko State Pedagogical University of Poltava in 1997. She defended her PhD thesis on “Structure and physical and mechanical properties of dental alloys based on Co-Cr-Mo and Ni-Cr-Mo systems in successive melts”.

Scientific interests are devoted to the physical and mechanical properties of dental alloys of metals and their possibilities for use in successive melts; topical problems of pedagogy of high school.

Yegorenkov A. graduated from the Faculty of Physics of the Altai State University (1982, “Physicist. Lecturer”) and completed his postgraduate studying at the Institute of Experimental and Theoretical Biophysics of the USSR Academy of Sciences (1988, Center for Biological Research of the USSR Academy of Sciences, Pushchino, Moscow Region). In 1997 he completed and defended his dissertation research “Methods of studying of deoxyribonucleic acid molecular biophysics in a medical university using new information technologies”.

Curator of advanced training at the department of medical and biological physics and informatics.

He graduated from the physics faculty at Taras Shevchenko National Kyiv University in 1999 with a degree in Physics with honors and received a Master’s degree in Physics.

In the same year he entered the postgraduate study of the department of theoretical physics of the physics faculty of Taras Shevchenko National Kyiv University, which he graduated in 2002.

He defended his Ph.D. thesis on “Hydroelastic instability in elastic liquid-filled tubes under pressure pulse wave propagation”.

Fluent in English (British Council Aptis certificate, Level C).

His research interests are the theory of elasticity, including the propagation of a pulse wave in blood vessels.

She graduated from Ivan Franko Lviv State University in 1980.

She defended her Ph.D. thesis on the “Study of two-component structurally disordered magnets”.

Scientific and methodological interests are devoted to physics of structurally disordered systems, in particular, the theory of multi – component structurally disordered magnets, to the actual issues of teaching physics to domestic and foreign students of medical universities.

Responsible for the English Language Training Form of Medical and Biologocal Physics and Higher Mathematics at the department.

Associate Professor of the Department of Medical and Biological Physics and Informatics

Graduated from the Drahomanov Pedagogical University majoring in «Physics, Informatics, Astronomy» in 2013, and majoring in «Educational Measurement. Head of Educational Quality Assessment Institution» 2014.

Postgraduate studies at the Drahomanov NPU in the specialty «0.11 of the Science of Education» since 2016.

Science research’s Theme: “Formation of informative competence of future pharmacists by means of distance learning”, specialty 13.00.02 – Theory and Methodology of Education (Medical and Pharmaceutical Subjects).

Olena K. Lyubchyk

 

Associate Professor of the Department of Medical and Biological Physics and Informatics

Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (since 2006)

Doctor in Sciences (Ph.D): Applied Mathematics (since 2003)

Responsible for international cooperation.

 

Lyubchyk graduated from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv in 1997. From 1997 to 2000 she was a postgraduate student at Main Astronomical Observatory of Ukraine. From 2000 to 2003 she continued her Ph.D studying at Catholic University of Leuven (Belgium). In 2003 she successfully defended her Ph.D. thesis entitled as “Nonlinear interaction of DAWs with high frequency electromagnetic waves in space plasma”. In 2006 the awarded diploma was confirmed by the Higher Attestation Commission of Ukraine with the award of the scientific degree of the candidate of physical and mathematical sciences.

Lyubchyk has an upper-intermediate English level (Certificate from the First Kyiv state courses of foreign languages, level B2)

The main directions of scientific and practical work

Analytical investigations of nonlinear wave instabilities in space plasma. Numerical investigations of resonant wave-particle interaction in nonuniform plasma.

In 1989, she graduated from the «Slovyansky State pedagogical institute» by specialty “Teacher of Mathematics and Physics.”

In 1998 she received her second higher education at the Donbass State Machine-Building Academy, majoring in enterprise economics.

The topic of the dissertation research is «Technology for solving tasks in medical and biological physics as means of professional training of future doctors».  Scientific adviser is Stuchinskaya NV., Doctor of Education, professor of the Department of Medical and Biological Physics of the Bogomolets National Medical University.

  1. The main directions of scientific and practical work.

Scientific directions are “011 – Education Sciences”, (13.00.02 theory and methodology of teaching (medical and pharmaceutical disciplines)).

Organizes work with students on the use of cloud technologies. Carries out research work with students.  The results of the work are 26 theses of students’ reports, which are published in scientific and practical conferences in different cities of Ukraine. Novikova I.M. is a master of modern ICT technologies, has experience of management activity.

Scientific interests: theory and methodology of teaching medical and biological physics.

The total number of scientific publications is 19, of which 9 are articles in professional scientific publications; 10 articles and theses at All-Ukrainian and International scientific conferences, 4 publications in co-authorship (h – index is 2). 16 co-authored textbooks for independent work of students were approved for use in general educational institutions by the Commission on Physics and Astronomy of the Scientific and Methodological Council for Education of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
