Professional training of specialists in the field of knowledge 22 “Health,” specialty 225 “Medical Psychology,” specialization “Physician-psychologist” requires a thorough study of medical and psychological disciplines and students’ mastery of the system of scientific knowledge. Moreover, it should also provide education based on humanity, patriotism, tolerance, empathy, openness, and unity, which is an essential prerequisite for forming professional competencies of the future psychologist.

To achieve this goal, the Department of General and Medical Psychology works closely with the Ukrainian State Medical and Social Center for War Veterans (https://www.udmscvv.com) and KDNZ “Center for Child Development “Me + Family” (HTTP: // www .ya-plus.in.ua), with signed cooperation agreements. It provides the possibility to hold regular classes with students at these bases, where future psychologists, under the department’s guidance, have the opportunity not only to master professional skills and abilities but also to educate and form professionally significant personality traits of today’s professionals.
