In 2002 he defended the Doctor of Medicine thesis “Hygienic use of pesticides and agrochemicals in the radiation-contaminated regions and in regions of environmental emergencies”.
His scientific contribution includes the issues of complex effect of chemical and physical environmental factors (pesticides and ionizing radiation) on the population health. The first scientist who rationalized methods of pesticides use standardizing regarding their use in the radiation contaminated and environmental emergency regions.
An author and co-author of over 800 publications, including 8 monographs, 13 books on general hygiene and Hygiene of Nutrition, Propaedeutics of Hygiene and Human Ecology, 25 study guides, author inventor certificates, 19 patents of Ukraine.
Scientific advisor of 4 Doctor of Medicine and 11 PhD theses dedicated to toxicology-hygiene assessment of new plant chemical protection methods.

In 2011 graduated with honours from the Medical Faculty №4 of Bogomolets National Medical University, with distinguished academic achievements among the faculty students.
From December 2012 till November 2015 studied in his PhD course at the Department of Hygiene of Nutrition of Bogomolets National Medical University. The PhD thesis “Hygienic assessment of peculiarities of lead nanoparticles effect on the body and scientific rationale of prevention of their negative effect”. The thesis was written and defended in 2016 at the specialized Council Д 26.003.01 of Bogomolets National Medical University (specialty 14.02.01 – hygiene and professional pathology).
A co-author and author of 44 publications, 2 patents of Ukraine, 1 information letter, 3 publications in the Scopus database. Bilous Sergii Viktorovich
Since October 2019 he has been Assistant Professor of the Department of Hygiene and Ecology # 4 (Department of Food Hygiene and Nutritionology from September 1, 2023). Total scientific and pedagogical experience – 11 years.
Candidate of Medical Sciences (since 2017). Since 2022, the academic title of associate professor of the department of hygiene and ecology has been awarded.
The department performs the duties of the curator of the discipline “Hygiene and ecology” and “Ecological medicine” for students of the medical faculty № 2. Responsible for observing the safety in the department. Responsible for distance learning at the department and the Likar_NMU educational platform. Responsible for sending information to the university website. At the department, he teaches the disciplines “Hygiene and Ecology”, “Ecological medicine”, “Nutritionology”, “Life Safety, Basics of Bioethics and Biosafety”.
He graduated with honors from the Medical Faculty № 4 of the Bohomolets National Medical University in 2012. Listed in the Book of Honors of Bohomolets National Medical University for significant academic achievement, active participation in scientific work and public life.
He defended his dissertation for the Candidate of Medical Sciences degree on the theme: “Hygienic substantiation of regulations for the triazolopyrimidine fungicides safe application in modern technologies of grape and vegetable crops protection” (2017).
By decision of the academic council of the National Medical University dated February 23, 2022, the academic title of associate professor of the Department of Hygiene and Ecology was awarded. The associate professor’s certificate (AD No. 010510) was issued based on the decision of the certification board on June 6, 2022.
He is a co-author of the draft State Sanitary Standards and Regulations “Medical Requirements for the Quality and Safety of Food and Raw Materials”.
He is the author and co-author of 45 printed works of hygienic directions, published in scientific-periodicals of Ukraine and materials of scientific-practical conferences.
He is a co-author of the utility model patent “Method for Determination of Nitrogen-Containing Fungicides in Water” No. 102112 of 12.10.2015.
Participated in research into the diet of students and the effectiveness of nutritional correction with the use of dietary supplements in the system of special methods of studying nutritional status by group testing methods.
He underwent thematic improvement courses “Topical issues of nutrition hygiene” at the Shupyk National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education (2014) and the cycle “Psychological and pedagogical foundations of higher medical education” at the Faculty of advanced training of teachers of higher medical educational institutions of the Institute of Postgraduate Education (2015).

In 2001, she graduated from the Vinnytsia State Medical University named after M.I. Pirogov and received a full higher education in the specialty “Medical business” and obtained the qualification of a doctor. 2001-2002 – internship in food hygiene.
Since 2002, he has been working at the Department of Nutritional Hygiene (Hygiene and Ecology No. 4 from September 1, 2017, Nutritional Hygiene and Nutritionology from September 1, 2023) of O.O. Bogomolets in the position of assistant, associate professor of the department.
Since 2002, she has taught and continues to teach the following disciplines: “Hygiene and Ecology”, “Life Safety, Basics of Bioethics and Biosafety”, “Nutrition Hygiene”, “Emergency Medicine”, “Civil Defense”, “Fundamentals of Medical Support of the Population and Troops”, “Nutritionology”, “Organization of medical and dietary nutrition”, “Ecological medicine”, “Hygienic prevention of diseases, organization of health care”.

Since 2004, he has been engaged in the study of nutritional statuses, rations of the population and students, conducts individual and group classes on the correction of food rations, takes part in the development of measures to prevent food-dependent diseases.
