MEETING OF NMU’S SCIENTIFIC COUNCIL

The meeting of NMU’s Scientific council, headed by rector of university, corresponding member in NAMS of Ukraine, professor K.M. AMOSOVA, was held on 9, April, 2015 at conference hall in physical chemical building.

Before considering the issues in agenda, on behalf of NMU’s collective the rector congratulated the labor veterans of university, who devotedly worked for the benefit of Alma Mater for many years and decided to go to well-earned rest. Professor K.M. AMOSOVA emphasized: “You left the invaluable contribution into development and establishment of University. I am sure that your scientific achievements and findings will serve as an example and model for many generations of our descendants. On occasion of this outstanding event I would like to wish all our labor veterans the good health, active long life, family warmth and well-being. I wish the retirement be the start for new achievements and findings, unforgettable impressions and joyful events for you”.

The rector told the words of congratulation and gratitude to the labor veterans, among them there were professors at departments: BURENKO Georgiy Volodymyrovych (general surgery No 2), KONOPLYOVA Lidiia Fedorivna (internal medicine No 2), KRYZHANOVSKYY Yaroslav Yosypovych (general surgery No 2), PARPALEY Ivan Oleksandrovych (labor hygiene and occupational diseases), assistant professors at departments: ZORINA Svitlana Mykolayivna (health care organization and social medicine), MELLIN Volodymyr Mykhaylovych (general surgery No 2), MOKHORT Vira Volodymyrivna (therapeutic dentistry), POTOTSKA Iryna Ivanivna (pathophysiology), PRUS Liubov Oleksandrivna (health care organization and social medicine), SIMEONOVA Nataliia Kostiantynivna (pathophysiology), CHUYKO Alla Petrivna (health care organization and social medicine), assistants at departments: PIKULSKA Ganna Fedorivna (labor hygiene and occupational diseases), SILCHENKO Nonna Antonivna (bioorganic and biological chemistry), UNICH Petro Pavlovych (neurology).

The head at department of health care organization and social medicine GRUZEVA Tetiana Stepanivna and professor at department of neurology MIALOVYTSKA Olena Anatolyivna were awarded with the Charter of Honor by Scientific council for significant personal contribution into development of University and on occasion of the jubilee.

According to agenda the meeting of scientific council considered 19 employment issues about election to the posts of deans, heads at department, directors of structural subdivisions, professors, awarding the scientific titles, as well as current affairs, in particular, the representatives of Pension fund due to invitation of the administration explained the peculiarities for accrual and assignment of scientific pensions.

1.1. Election to the post of dean at medical faculty No 1. As a result from announced competition one application was submitted from the dean of medical faculty No 1, Candidate of Medicine, assistant professor MELNYK Volodymyr Stepanovych.
1.2. Election to the post of dean at medical faculty No 4. As a result from announced competition one application was submitted from the acting dean of medical faculty No 4, Candidate of Medicine, assistant professor PELYO Igor Mykhaylovych.
1.3. Election to the post of head at department of general practice (family medicine). As a result from announced competition one application was submitted from the head at department of general practice (family medicine), Doctor of Medicine, professor BARNA Olga Mykolayivna.
1.4. Election to the post of head at department of bioorganic and biological chemistry. As a result from announced competition one application was submitted from the head at department of bioorganic and biological chemistry, Doctor of Medicine, professor GAYOVA Liudmyla Volodymyrivna.
1.5. Election to the post of head at department of oncology. As a result from announced competition two applications were submitted from the head at department of oncology, Doctor of Medicine, professor VERESCHAKO Roman Ivanovych and professor at department of oncology, Doctor of Medicine, professor CHESHUK Valeriy Yevgenovych.
1.6. Election to the post of head at department of physiology. As a result from announced competition one application was submitted from the acting head at department, Candidate of Medicine, assistant professor KARVATSKYY Ihor Mylolayovych.
1.7. Election to the post of head at department of propedeutics of internal medicine No 2. As a result from announced competition three applications were submitted from:
– acting head at department of propedeutics of internal medicine No 2, Doctor of Medicine, professor KONDRATIUK Vitaliy Yevgenovych’
– professor at department of propedeutics of internal medicine No 2, Doctor of Medicine, professor MOYSEYENKO Valentyna Oleksiyivna;
– professor at department of propedeutics of internal medicine No 2, Doctor of Medicine, professor PALIYENKO Ihor Anatoliyovych.
1.8. Election to the post of director in scientific research institute of experimental and clinical medicine.
As a result from announced competition one application was submitted from director in scientific research institute of experimental and clinical medicine, Doctor of Medicine, professor NATRUS Larysa Valentynivna.
1.9. Election to the post of director in medical college. As a result from announced competition one application was submitted from director in medical college, Candidate of Medicine, assistant professor GUSCH Dmytro Kostiantynovych.
1.10. Election to the post of professor at department of internal medicine No 1 (0.75 of wage). As a result from announced competition one application was submitted from professor at department of internal medicine No 1, Doctor of Medicine, professor DOROFEYEV Andrii Eduardovych.
1.11. Election to the post of professor at department of anesthesiology and intensive care (0.75 of wage). As a result from announced competition one application was submitted from professor at department of anesthesiology and intensive care, Doctor of Medicine, professor DUBROV Serhii Oleksandrovych.
1.12. Election to the post of professor at department of internal medicine No 4. As a result from announced competition one application was submitted from professor at department of internal medicine No 4, Doctor of Medicine, professor KRAMARYOVA Viktoriia Nylivna.
1.13. Awarding the scientific title “Professor” at department of health care organization and social medicine, Doctor of History, professor at department STUPAK Fedir Yakovych.
1.14. Awarding the scientific title “Professor” at department of infectious diseases, Doctor of Medicine, professor at department SHKURBA Andrii Viktorovych.
1.15. Awarding the scientific title “Assistant Professor” at department of ophthalmology, Candidate of Medicine, assistant professor at department GREBEN Nataliia Kostiantynivna.
1.16. Awarding the scientific title “Assistant Professor” at department of dermatology and venereology, Candidate of Medicine, assistant professor at department IVANOV Serhii Volodymyrovych.
1.17. Awarding the scientific title “Assistant Professor” at department of dermatology and venereology, Candidate of Medicine, assistant professor at department KOLIADENKO Kateryna Volodymyrivna.
1.18. Awarding the scientific title “Assistant Professor” at department of propedeutics of internal medicine No 2, Candidate of Medicine, assistant professor at department KRASIUK Iryna Vasylivna.
1.19. Awarding the scientific title “Assistant Professor” at department of ophthalmology, Candidate of Medicine, assistant professor at department RYZHOVA Iryna Petrivna.
1.20. About inclusion of NMU’s employees professor V.S. Stepanenko and professor Ya.V. Tsekhmister into composition of authors’ collective for work on acquisition of State Prize of Ukraine.

2. CURRENT AFFAIRS.
2.1. About expirience in performance and perspectives for development of intellectual competitions at NMU.
2.2. About nomination of candidate of acting head at department of otorhinolaryngology, professor VASYLYEV Valeriy Mykhaylovych to awarding with the honorary title Honorary Doctor of Ukraine.
2.3. About approval of program for elective course “Medical embryology with basics of teratology”.
2.4. About recommendation from scientific council to textbook for practical classes on module No 1 “Biological important classes of bioorganic compounds. Biopolymers and their structural components”.
2.5. About recommendation from scientific council for publication of methodological guidelines by department of otorhinolaryngology “Acute and chronic diseases of external and middle ears”, “Diseases of larynx”. “Diseases of pharynx”, “Early diagnostics of chronic laryngitis”.

The results from secret voting were approved: Doctor of Medicine, professor Vitaliy Yevgenovych KONDRATIUK was elected to the post of the head at department of propedeutics of internal medicine No 2 and Doctor of Medicine, professor Roman Ivanovych VERESCHAKO – to the post of the head at department of oncology.
