MEETING OF ADMISSION COMMISSION AS TO ACCEPTANCE OF STUDENTS DUE TO STATE ORDERING
The final meeting of Admission commission of NMU was held on 6, August, 2016 in morphological building at O.O. Bohomolets National medical university.
The deputy chairman in Admission commission, professor Oleksandr Naumenko told about previous results from admission and enrollment of entrants to the places of state ordering. In general, the entrance campaign in 2016 passed successfully and transparently, on the day before over one thousand entrants visited the university on Doors Open Days, this year we performed 4 such days, the entrants received the information materials and memos for acquaintance with the university.
“The peculiarities of entrance campaign this year – the licensing of university for study and acquisition of educational level “master” took place; the selection for educational program “dentistry” 2nd course was held for the first time; the applications were submitted only in electronic form (95 percents). The documents in hard copy were submitted only by those entrants, whose places were allocated due to quotas or due to results from entrance exams. The weight coefficients depending on this high school were also implemented”, – mentioned professor Oleksandr Naumenko.
The innovation of entrance campaign this year was the cancellation of special countryside acceptance and the single-source selection was cancelled for the first time.
The university will keep its status as one of the best medical establishments in our country that is confirmed by a great number of applications from people from all regions of Ukraine, who strive to study at it.
