JUBILEE SCIENTIFIC PRACTICAL ORTHOPEDIC READINGS DEVOTED TO 90TH BIRTHDAY OF YE.T. SKLIARENKO

professor Ye.T. Skliarenko

On 24, October, 2014 Bogomolets National medical university, SE “Institute of traumatology and orthopedics at AMS of Ukraine”, Association of orthopedists-traumatologists of Ukraine performed the solemn scientific practical orthopedic readings, devoted to the 90^th birthday of Twice Laureate of State Prize of Ukraine, honorary scientist of Ukraine, professor at department of Traumatology and orthopedics of Bogomolets NMU Yevgen Tymofiyovych Skliarenko.

The solemn meeting was opened by chairman, rector in Bogomolets National medical university, corresponding member in NAMS of Ukraine, professor K.M. Amosova. The co-chairman of the conference, academician in NAMS of Ukraine, professor G.V. Gayko made a welcome speech.

After solemnities and congratulations to the jubilee the pupil and follower, head at department of Traumatology and orthopedics in NMU, professor O.A. Burianov told about life, scientific and pedagogical way of professor Ye.T. Skliarenko.

The topics of scientific practical readings were devoted to reparative corrective surgery at intra-articular injuries, traumas of pelvis and spine, reparative corrective surgery at degenerative dystrophic and inflammatory injuries of locomotor apparatus and support, slightly invasive treatment technologies in traumatology and orthopedics, physiotherapy and pharmacotherapy in arthrology.

The readings were performed in the format of enlarged scientific practical reports and lectures by leading specialists in the sphere of Traumatology and orthopedics from Ukraine. In particular, the following persons made speeches: professor G.V. Gayko, professor A.T. Brusko, professor M.O. Korzh, professor O.I. Korolkov, professor S.S. Strafun, professor O.Ye. Loskutov, professor S.I. Gerasymenko, professor A.P. Liabakh, professor A.T. Stashkevych, professor M.P. Grytsay.

The presentation of published editions, which author and co-author is Ye.T. Skliarenko and employees at department of Traumatology and orthopedics of Bogomolets National medical university, was performed during the conference.
