X INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC PRACTICAL CONFERENCE OF STUDENTS AND YOUNG SCIENTISTS “SPECIAL ISSUES OF DIAGNOSTICS AND TREATMENT OF DISEASES OF ENT-ORGANS, CRANIOFACIAL SECTION AND VISUAL ORGAN”

The jubilee 10^th International scientific practical conference of students and young scientists “Special issues of diagnostics and treatment of diseases of ENT-organs, craniofacial section and visual organ” was held on 14-15, March, 2018 on base of O.O. Bogomolets National Medical University, in which about 100 students, young scientists from O.O. Bogomolets National Medical University, Luhansk Medical University, HSEEU “Ukrainian Medical Dental Academy” took part.

The pro-rector in scientific activity, Doctor of Medicine, professor Cherenko Tetiana Makarivna and pro-rector in scientific pedagogical, treatment activity and postgraduate education, Honorary Doctor of Ukraine, Doctor of Medicine, professor Naumenko Oleksandr Mykolaiovych took part in solemn ceremony of conference opening.

The participants in the conference with the great attention listened to three lectures on urgent topics of today.

Lecture No 1 “Modern approaches to treatment of tonsillogenic phlegmons of neck” – head at department of otorhinolaryngology, Doctor of Medicine, professor Deieva Yuliia Valeriivna.

Lecture No 2 “Reconstructive restorative surgery of facial section” – corresponding member in NAMS of Ukraine, Honorary Scientist and Technician of Ukraine, Doctor of Medicine, professor Malanchuk Vladyslav Oleksandrovych

Lecture No 3 “Modern opinion on dry eye syndrome” – Doctor of Medicine, professor at department of ophthalmology Skrypnyk Rimma Leonidivna

The plenary meeting for the 10^th International scientific practical conference of students and young scientists “Special issues of diagnostics and treatment of diseases of ENT-organs, craniofacial section and visual organ” was held on 15, March, 2017. The scientific works were presented by students and interns of O.O. Bogomolets National Medical University, Luhansk Medical University, HSEEU “Ukrainian Medical Dental Academy”. The jury mentioned the high level of scientific works and the best works were:

Department of ophthalmology:

• 1^st place – Sereda Serhii Oleksandrovych (student of the 6^th course at O. Bogomolets National Medical University).
• 2^nd place – Zavalna Yana Valentynivna (student of the 6^th course at O. Bogomolets National Medical University) and Kovaliov Ivan Andriiovych (student of the 4^th course at O.O. Bogomolets National Medical University).
• 3^rd place – Shulha Iryna Vadymivna (student of the 5^th course at O. Bogomolets National Medical University) and Pedai Anna Serhiivna (student of the 5^th course at Luhansk Medical University)

Department of otorhinolaryngology:

• 1^st place – Gryshyna Iryna Serhiivna (doctor-intern at Higher State Educational Establishment of Ukraine “Ukrainian Medical Dental Academy”)
• 2^nd place – Levcheniuk Sofiia Volodymyrivna (doctor-intern at O. Bogomolets National Medical University), Popovych Iryna Serhiivna (doctor-intern at O.O. Bogomolets National Medical University),
• 3^rd place – Andrusenko Daryna Viktorivna (doctor-intern at O. Bogomolets National Medical University), Vyshpinskyi Yaroslav Ihorovych (student of the 5^th course at O.O. Bogomolets National Medical University)

Department of surgical dentistry and facial surgery:

• 1^st place – Palyvoda Roman Stanislavovych (assistant at department of surgical dentistry and facial surgery at O. Bogomolets National Medical University)
• 2^nd place – Toropov Bohdan Oleksandrovych (student of the 3^rd course at O. Bogomolets National Medical University)
• 3^rd place – Mytkalyk Anna Andriivna, Oleksiuk Mariia Volodymyrivna (students of the 4^th course at O. Bogomolets National Medical University).
