ENGLISH TESTING OF TEACHERS IS GOING ON

On 28, March, 2016 the teachers of O.O. Bohomolets National medical university had APTIS testing from British council in Ukraine as to determination of level in knowledge of English language.

Let’s remind that this is the second day of testing for 20 scientific pedagogical workers of University, the first twenty teachers had the test on 23, March, 2016.

The agreement about cooperation with “British Council” Company, which is directed to improve the level of foreign language, was signed on 2, February, 2016 at the initiative of rector in University, professor Kateryna Amosova.

This project will enable teachers of university improving the quality in teaching special disciplines in English to the students of the first courses, as well as improving the level of foreign language at employees for fulfillment of top-priority tasks of university and needs of Ukraine in the sphere of education.

The educational program on courses for teachers will be developed according to the results of testing. According to the words by head at department of planning and performance of exams at “British Council” Nataliia Grynko, B2 level is sufficient for teaching, and Ministry of education and science of Ukraine approved it for receipt of academic title.

All participants, who will pass through testing and have high results, will receive the certificate that will certify the level of English at teacher. APTIS certificate is acknowledged at national and international level.
