DISCUSSION OF DRAFT PROVISIONS ON SUPERVISORY BOARD OF NMU’S DENTAL CENTER

A regular working meeting, which discussed the draft provisions on the Supervisory Board of NMU’s Dental Medical Center, was held on September 8, 2015.

Public figure, People’s Deputy of Ukraine, Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Health, Iryna Sysoyenko and president of the All-Ukrainian Council of protecting the rights and patient safety, Victor Serdyuk, Dean of Dental Faculty, Valeriy Nespriadko, director of NMU’s Dental Medical Centre, Maria Lukianets, Deputy Director of Dental Center, Nina Chernykh, administration of the University and Dental Medical Center attended the meeting.

Chairman of the Union of NGOs ‘Ukrainian Association of patients rights protection ‘Healthy Nation’ Valentyna Ocheretenko, Attorney Yevhen A. Volgin, PhD. Legal. Sciences, Professor of Criminal Law at the National Prosecution Academy of Ukraine, attorney Yana O. Tryniova, president of the Ukrainian Council of protecting the rights and patient safety, Victor H. Serdiuk were among the sponsors of the draft positions.
The issue of providing paid and free services, conditions of appropriate support the learning process for students of Dental Faculty and the number of members of the Supervisory Board has been discussed. Participants of the meeting came to a joint decision that the number of Supervisory Board’s members should be from 7 to 9 people. The purpose of creating the Board of Dental Center is improving the quality of educational and medical services and public information.

Participants of the working meeting reviewed the terms of Centre’s activity, visited various offices, classrooms of Dental Faculty and Medical College.
