REGULAR CLASS IN II CYCLE OF “COURSE ON EMERGENCY PRE-HOSPITAL MEDICAL AID”

The regular class in II cycle of “Course on emergency pre-hospital medical aid” was held on 6, December, 2014 on the base of department of traumatology and orthopedics at O.O. Bohomolets National medical university and SE “Institute of traumatology and orthopedics at NAMS of Ukraine”.

The topic of the class was “Principles to render the aid to injured people with bullet wounds, peculiarities for treatment of bullet orthopedic trauma”. The event involved the leading specialists of civil medicine, military doctors, as well as representatives from military services of structures, which take part in ATO.

The head at department of traumatology and orthopedics Oleksander Buryanov read the urgent lecture “Bullet and mine-blast traumas” for participants in the class, there were about 100 persons.

The lass was continued by master class (speaker Vadym Mazevych), which included the theoretical material and drill of practical skills in transport immobilization at injuries of extremities and spine; bleeding control under military field conditions and at evacuation stages; principles to lay bandages at injury of locomotor and support apparatus; application of external fixators.
