UPCOMING EVENT: SCIENTIFIC PRACTICAL SESSION ‘IMPLEMENTATION OF SCIENTIFIC DEVELOPMENTS IN HEALTH CARE PRACTICE’

Bohomolets National Medical University, SU ‘Institute of traumatology and orthopaedics of National Academy of Medical Science of Ukraine’, Association of orthopedist-traumatologist of Kyiv city and Kyiv oblast, military medical academy of Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, City Clinical Emergency Hospital of Kyiv city, Kyiv city clinical hospital No. 9, NTU ‘KPI’ of Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine invite you to take part in the annual scientific practical session ‘Implementation of Scientific Developments in Health Care Practice’.

The Conference is scheduled for December 18-19, 2015, in Kyiv at SU ‘Institute of traumatology and orthopaedics of National Academy of Medical Science of Ukraine’ at: 27 Vorovskoho, Kyiv.

Modern aspects of treatment and rehabilitation of soldiers with combat trauma
Reconstructive surgery in case of articular injuries, pelvis and spine injuries
Reconstructive surgery in case of degenerative-dystrophic damages and inflammatory damages of locomotor apparatus
Minimally invasive treatment technology in traumatology and orthopaedics
Physical therapy and pharmacotherapy in arthrology
Training of specialists in Traumatology and orthopaedics

SESSION
Language: Ukrainian, Russian, English.
Scientific practical session is conducted in the form of plenary meetings on basic topics in participation of the leading experts of Ukraine and other countries.
An exposition of pharmaceutical companies and medical equipment will be organized during this session.
The Conference materials will be published in the specialized scientific practical journal ‘Chronicle of traumatology and orthopaedics’ No. 1-2, 2016 included in the list of editions accredited in the Higher Attestation Commission of Ukraine.

For participation in the conference it is necessary to register as a participant till December 10, 2015, by sending a filled registration card (see below) to kaftravm@mail.ru with subject ‘session 2015’.

PUBLICATION REQUIREMENT
If the participants want, the articles and notes may be published in the ‘Chronicle of traumatology and orthopaedics approved by the Higher Attestation Commission of Ukraine. For this purpose it is necessary to send the following documents till December 10, 2015, to the organizational committee.
All the articles are obligatorily reviewed. An article may be returned to the author for correction or reduction. The materials filing the mentioned below requirements are not published. One page of publication costs UAH 15.

For scientific articles:

·         Article in two copies signed by all the authors, approved by the institution director and sealed; volume – 5 – 7 pages of A4 printed text, including the list of literature, table, illustrations, signatures. Text font -Times New Roman, 14, interline space 1,5.

·         On the first page, in the upper left corner, new paragraph, UDK code; initials and names of authors; article name; name of institution where the article is done; country. Key words under them.

·         Structure of main text of original articles should correspond to general structure of scientific articles (under the requirements of Higher Attestation Commission of Ukraine), and contain the following sections: “Introduction”, “Aim”, “Material and methods”, “Results and discussions”, “Conclusions”. It is necessary to attach the report describing the main provisions of the article, in language of original, in Russian and English – max. 30% of the page.

·         The list of references (up to 10 sources, min. 70 % of the last 5-7 years);

·         Electronic version of the article is attached on CD-R/RW (electronic and hard copies should be identical; the materials of only one article should be on magnetic media). The electronic version may be submitted via e-mail kaftravm@mail.ru with subject ‘Article in Chronicle 2016’.

·         Expert report and official accompanying letter.

·         For notes publication: UDK code; name of the article; initials and names of authors; name of institution where the article is done and country; the text should contain max. 400 words, should not contain tables, graphs, and figures. Max. Two articles are accepted from one fist author.

·         Notes are done in MS Word, Times New Roman, 14, interline space 1,5. File name is formed from the name of the first author, city and file number (e.g.: IvanovKyiv1).
